I often think a lot about the pictures I didn't take. The first picture reminds me of one of those moments I missed. We were at a wedding and the flower girl sat in a corner looking a bit tired. Under the white dress you got a glimpse of a pair of bright yellow crocs.

I stumbled upon this wonderful blog today and read it all. Having spent my entire childhood, more than half my life, in the Swedish archipelago (which looks just as lovely on the Norwegian side by the way) my heart just melts when I see this bedroom view and all pictures of modern Scandinavian summer cottages. The interiors are just as inspiring. The cottages have very smart solutions for small spaces. Applies to us living in old houses with lots of unused weird spaces too. I got so many nice ideas for bunk beds and attic storage which I think about a lot these days. And the blog owner is so talented. Don't miss it.

Sunday

I've had more visitors today than during my first 4 months of blogging. Wish I could send you some of my Saturday night ice cream. If ever in Iceland there is this really nice place you have to go to. It has the best ice cream and on top of that they have a cool pink neon light and mid century interior. Icelanders know their ice cream. Rain or snow you see people cue out in the cold for this one.
I could send you two of these cloud drinksticks I found today though. If you leave a comment I make a draw. You could also make your own out of candle wax. Check out this tutorial over at Poppy Talk.

This winter they have all the snow in southern Europe and we haven't got any. We have to go to the glaciers or mountains to find snow.
