Thursday

After two weeks of painting different white tones in the attic and putting in a new very pale floor we ended up (after a people's vote) painting a wall in the living room in a bright lime green color. It turned out really well. It matters so much what brand of paint you choose. The old paint was a disaster and showed everything off but this new paint (chosen by my new best friends in the paint department store) just tricks the eye into thinking I spent hours covering up all the flaws including an old small people's door opening! When I in fact only spent a few minutes hiding a few nail holes.

Here are pictures of the chair after painting it. I kind of wanted to paint it green or blue or something but it became white since after all it was its' original color. However it already has scratch marks on it after being in my 2 year old's possession in just over 2 months time so now I just might have to repaint it in some a little more colorful color. Can't quiet remember where I put that white paint.

In July I found this cute children's chair in an attic in Sweden. It was my great great grandmothers. She was a little girl sometime in the 1890:s and probably her Dad built it for her.
It actually fitted into my bag so I brought it here. I'm so grateful it didn't get crushed on the flight.
