The eruption in Iceland is now over for this time. Our photographic fingers are already itching. Hoping for a new one really soon.
Update: Well this was the spookiest post, just a couple of hours after I posted this we had new earthquakes and a big eruption started under the nearby glacier. People are evacuated from the lowlands and it looks like there will be big floods and destruction of land and properties on the south coast. This morning the Markarfljót river was 1m higher than it usually is. They are now digging canals trough the main road to try to save the new bridge over the river when the flood reaches is. The old bridge is already under water.
